Understanding your child, not just giving a diagnosis.
We understand you are here because you want the best for your child. Perhaps your child is finding school overwhelming, experiencing intense emotions, or having a hard time navigating social situations. At the Welham Autism Centre, we don’t just provide a simple diagnostic label. We provide a deep, holistic understanding of what is going on for your child, and more importantly, the strategies to help improve your family's daily life.
What Makes Us Different?
Uncompromising Rigour
We strictly adhere to NICE and NHS England guidelines. Our multi-disciplinary team combines standard assessment tools (including the ADOS-2) with extensive clinical experience to ensure a comprehensive evaluation whilst keeping turnaround times low (feedback is typically within 4 weeks of initial consultation).
Actionable Strategies
A diagnosis is only the beginning. We focus on neuro-affirmative, practical strategies tailored to your child's unique profile, helping them thrive at home and in education.
Respected Reports
Because of our clinical depth and thorough mapping to diagnostic criteria, our reports carry significant weight. We are happy to liaise directly with schools and local authorities to facilitate our findings being accepted and acted upon.
